Analysis Gerry Lynch BBC NI election analyst Where Sinn Fein have been up to now been an exotic, strange phenomenon, they are now part of the political mainstream.

If Labour do go into coalition with Fine Gael, Sinn Fein will be the main left-wing opposition force to a government committed to prescribing tough economic medicine.

Sinn Fein have given themselves a chance to become a genuine, permanent, political presence in the Dail - that was always going to be a long term project, and they are a long way from achieving that, but they have the means to make it possible

SINN FEIN HAVE NOW MOVED SO FAR FROM BEING A RADICAL REPUBLICAN PARTY..THEY ARE NOW JUST LIKE THE WORKERS PARTY..DEMOCRATIC LEFT...RIDING A WAVE OF POPULARITY THAT JUST LIKE THE STICKS IS UNSUSTAINABLE...ENJOY YOUR MOMENT..IT WILL BE LATER THAT YOU REACH THE SAME FATE OF THOSE WHO ABANDONED THE REPUBLICAN CAUSE..SOONER THE BETTER,,CONSITUTIONALIST SELLOUTS..

Isn't it about time that people wake up to British Sinn Fein.  I can't post on the guestbook.
